The Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Unit is normalizing the lower segment of the Pinang Kalijati Connecting (Phb) Channel in RT 09/11, Pondok Labu Urban Village.

Cilandak Sub-district SDA Unit Head Chairul Anwar conveyed that normalization was carried out to overcome inundation which often occurs during heavy rains.
"Pinang Kalijati Phb Channel has narrowed from 2.5 meters wide to 1.5 meters with 20 meters long. It makes the channel capacity not optimal," he stated, Friday (3/25).

"It aims to restore the channel wide thus it has a larger capacity," he added.
It was carried out to follow up on the resident's request and was targeted to be completed in the next two weeks.
"We also urge residents to take care of the channel after it has been normalized by not littering," he asserted.
